One year in Prague

Stunning architecture, beauty on every corner, immense green spaces throughout the city and beyond.

In Prague there are a lot of things to do and places to go, it's rather cheap (no euro, yeah) and you can come back home alone in the night without fear.

It's a clean city, people-friendly and with efficient public transport (I come from a very small town and was afraid to get lost through metro lines and unnameable streets, but it never happened...so guys, if I made the grade, everybody can).

How not to love it?

Uh, what are you saying? You mean those insignificant details such as unintelligible language and locals not smiling at strangers (not always true, c'mon) and the sun going down at 4 pm during winter and the cold weather freezing your ass and...ok ok, there is a little price to be paid, but it's worth it! Expecially if you live with a loving boyfriend and you meet amazing people from different parts of the world that cheer up your evenings ^.^

If you happen to come round here, here are some places you cannot miss (except for the classic Old Town, Prague Castle and museums tour):

- Petřin Hill : Enjoy a breath-taking wiev over the city from the observation tower - but if you don't want to go up on the tower it's enough to have a glance from the panoramic terraces here and there - and a beautiful rose garden (during the proper season), have fun in the mirror maze (everybody return to childhood, trust me) and delve into a fantasy atmosphere thanks to Reon Argondian's painting exhibition into The Magical Cavern.

- John Lennon wall : It represents the power of (he)art, history and music all together. "If walls could talk"...a dream come true!

- U Krále Brabantského : Prague is so full of pubs and taverns that it would take a lifetime to see all of them! The reason why I suggest you to go here, is that this place offers you the opportunity to go back to the Middle Ages every inch and to enjoy an unforgettable show with musicians, fire-eaters, fencers and belly-dancers. Make sure to be drunk enough to dance on the table and take part in the show, it can happen ahah

Průhonicky Park and Dendrologická Zahrada : Finally, if you still have time and want to relax for a while, these are two of the most beautiful parks in the surrounding area of the city. Well, "park" is a limiting word to describe these wonders of nature...have a look at the pictures and you will know what I mean *.*

Ah, I forgot : if you happen to see them playing in Staroměstské náměstí, stop by and listen, dreaming of ancient times in Bohemia...
